Writing Prompt Cubes

The Writing Prompt Cubes are an engaging primary school literacy resource designed to spark brainstorming, imagination and creative thinking during writing activities.

Ideal for classrooms, literacy centres, small-group work and home learning, these foam writing cubes provide children with fun and accessible prompts to help develop ideas for both creative and nonfiction writing.

The set features 36 different writing prompts, with prompts printed on every side of the cubes. Children can roll the cubes and use the prompts as inspiration for stories, characters, settings, descriptions, facts and other writing projects.

The soft foam cubes roll quietly, making them particularly suitable for literacy centres and independent classroom activities where teachers want to minimise disruption. Children can work individually, in pairs or in groups, using the prompts to brainstorm ideas and develop their own written responses.
