he Understanding Feelings Set is an engaging emotional literacy and personal development resource designed to help children recognise, explore and communicate a wide range of feelings.

Ideal for primary schools, early years settings, classrooms and SEN environments, this interactive set provides practical ways for children to discuss emotions, observe facial expressions and develop greater awareness of how they and others feel.

The set includes 13 acetate expression faces, each showing a different feeling. Children can handle the faces and place them on a table, window or light panel, making the resource flexible for individual, small-group and whole-class activities.

An A3 poster displays the different expressions and includes a key explaining what each face represents.

The set also contains 3 blank white face-shaped boards for use with dry-wipe markers, allowing children to draw and explore their own facial expressions and emotions.

Three blank acetate faces provide further opportunities for creative activities, while 3 face-shaped mirrors allow children to observe their own expressions and explore how emotions can be communicated through facial cues.
