CVC Tri-Blocks Tub

The CVC Tri-Blocks Tub is an innovative hands-on phonics resource designed to help children build, manipulate and explore simple consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words. Ideal for primary classrooms, literacy intervention groups and home learning environments, these interactive blocks make learning phonics, spelling and word construction engaging and enjoyable.

Children can build words by arranging and rotating the Tri-Blocks, changing beginning consonants, ending consonants or middle vowel sounds to create new words and explore spelling patterns. This practical approach helps learners understand how sounds combine to form words while developing confidence in reading and spelling.

The blocks feature colour-coded spelling patterns and unique orientations, helping children recognise phonics rules and word structures more easily. Through repeated manipulation and experimentation, learners strengthen phonemic awareness, decoding skills and vocabulary development.
