Emotions Posting Game

The Emotions Posting Game is an engaging social-emotional learning resource designed to help children identify, discuss and understand a wide range of feelings through interactive play. Ideal for early years classrooms, primary schools, SEN settings and wellbeing activities, this game encourages children to explore both positive and challenging emotions in a safe and supportive way.

The game includes 60 posting cards featuring real-life photographs that encourage children to talk about the emotions shown, share ideas and consider how different situations may make people feel. Children then post each card into the matching emotion post box, developing emotional recognition and communication skills through play.

The set includes 6 emotion post boxes, each representing a different feeling:

• Happy
• Sad
• Surprised
• Worried
• Angry
• Upset

Once all cards have been posted, children can review which emotion box contains the most cards, encouraging further discussion and reflection about feelings.

The cards feature images on one side and a blank reverse side, allowing teachers and children to add notes, create their own scenarios or extend activities.
